The term "backwater fishing" means salt water fishing that is not out on the Gulf of Mexico, but just inland from the beach. These are tidal waters that surround the beautiful mangrove islands. Naples has a complete inter-coastal waterway system that runs from Naples south to Marco Island that has great fishing. The waters also run north in and around docks which hold great fish!

This Naples, Florida fishing charter will fish the back waters between Naples and Marco island. We fish different areas depending on the tide, time of year, and fishing conditions. Some areas include the mangroves and inter-coastal waterways. Others include the bays and creeks leading into them.
We catch a wide variety of fish. They include Pompano, Trout, Snook, Redfish and Bluefish. Others included are Lady Fish, Jacks, Snapper, Sheepshead, and Black Drum.
We will be using shrimp for bait while fishing the mangroves and docks, or we will be drifting and jigging with jigs while fishing the bays and inter-coastal waterways. Some days we will incorporate both methods.
Families, small groups, couples and individuals are welcome. Novices, as well as, experienced anglers are welcome. Instruction is always provided.
