Day Star Charters - Naples Fishing Report

Hello fellow anglers!

Here is the November 2011 – April 2012 fishing report and what you can expect to catch while fishing with our company in Naples, Florida.

This time of year in Naples, our company focuses on mainly backwater fishing. With bi-weekly cold fronts and frequent high winds offshore, we stay in the calm backwater, bays, mangroves, and protected areas. Here we are catching, Snook, Pompano, Redfish, Trout, Ladyfish, Jacks, Black Drum, Snapper, and others. We use either jigs or shrimp for bait.

We will be fishing from Naples Bay south towards Marco Island.

The water temperature will be anywhere from the low 50’s to the low 70’s. The air temperature will be from the low 50’s to the low 80’s.

We encourage catch and release, but we will fillet up whatever is legal for you to keep if you would like.

Looking forward to fishing with you in Naples Florida!
